Gavin Newsom’s Failures
Increased Crime
Homicides skyrocketed to 31% in 2020 — and now, Gavin is giving 76,000 inmates the opportunity to leave prison earlier in attempts to trim the prison population. This includes 63,000 inmates convicted of violent felonies – 20,000 of which are serving life sentences with the possibility of parole.
Increased Homelessness
Homelessness has increased by 14.6% from 2019-2020. 27% of people in the US experiencing homelessness are in California. Nationwide, more than half of the people experiencing unsheltered homelessness reside in California.
Blackouts
California’s electricity prices jumped by 7.5% in 2020, making it the biggest increase than any state in the country, and nearly 7x the increase in the US as a whole. Californians are now paying 70% more for their electricity than the average American. California’s first rolling blackouts since 2001 have occurred during Gavin Newsom’s leadership. Isn’t it amazing that in the land of tech, we can’t even keep our lights on?
Rampant Corruption
$31 billion was given away in EDD fraud while over one million claims for unemployment have still not been paid. Under Gavin’s leadership, California mismanaged more than $71 billion in federal Covid-19 funding for more than 35 programs. Gavin has also given over $1 billion in no-bid contracts to major political and behested payment donors.
Water Restrictions
When AB 1668 and
SB 606 are fully implemented in 2025, Californians will be limited to 52.5 gal/day. If you go over the daily allotted amount, fines ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 will be imposed. To put it in perspective, a load of laundry uses 41 gal of water, dishwashers use 3.2 gal, a flushed toilet uses 1.7 gal, and an 8 minute shower is ~17 gal.
Our Mission
Our Mission
We oppose Governor Newsom’s COVID-19 hypocrisy and lockdown tyranny. Our aim is to inspire Californians to let their voices be heard and not just contribute to the conversation, but to drive positive change in California by voting YES on the Recall to restore principled, united, and accountable leadership in California.
Our Values
Our Values
As Californians, we believe the Golden State should forever be a land of unlimited opportunity, shared prosperity, and economic mobility. We owe it to ourselves and to future generations to invest in education, protect our environment, and ensure all communities are clean and safe for all. We believe an effective and responsive government can regain the trust of everyday Californians, put our needs first, instead of only serving special interests, and restore the California dream that has inspired generations for over 170 years.
Our Approach
Our Approach
We create inspiring and relevant issue-based campaigns to drive the political debate in California. By bringing people from all walks of life and backgrounds together, we reject the narrative that Recalling Governor Newsom is a Republican idea. We believe California deserves better than the status quo, and that by empowering voices from diverse backgrounds we can increase engagement and help everyday Californian’s feel like the government serves them, not the other way around. We use creative storytelling to shape the conversation, and alternative media to reach wherever they are on the political spectrum. By working with leading communications experts, we ensure that our priorities are in front of the ever changing social and traditional media landscapes, that our message drives the Recall conversation in 2021, and is relevant to traditionally underserved demographics.
